100 Word Challenge Week 4

The sun was out. Everything was brighter. Customers came in and out. Almost every consumer had bought at least one product in the corner store. Suddenly the alarms went off. Everybody froze. A sicurity guard came in and walked by everyone. The door opened; everyone turned their heads. It was a dog, and the dog was wearing glasses. The dog  had a tag that said “Bob”. Bob was standing on his two paws carrying a few items: chips, apple juice, and chocolate. How is this possible? Then, Bob nodded and left. Somehow, I remained agape, starring at the closed door.

100 Word Challenge Week 3

The sound of thunder echoed in the wide, empty halls. Lightning  illuminated the castle’s various walls. The ferocious winds blew the purple curtains mid-air. It was becoming more and more difficult to not be frightened. However, I was. My professor had told me that back in the 1700’s, a man lived in this specific castle. That man was believed to have a twisted mind and life. Anyone that came in would change or never return. Often, people would call him beastly names, like crocodile. Boom! thunder erupted. It was my own professor with taunting, red eyes and a sinister smile.

My Song

A song that I would use to define a part of who I am is, “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” by Danny Gokey. The phrases,”Let the shadows fall away” and, “Yesterday’s a closing door, you don’t live there anymore” are of great significance to me. The second phrase has helped me remember to not live in the past, to move on. The first phrase, however,  has been engraved in my mind. It has encouraged me to release negative factors in my life. Since the song was released in 2014, three years ago, it has been  in my heart long enough for me to find advice in it throughout that period. Although the song may sound sad, it is an amazing song, in my opinion, which is why I chose it.               https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F77v41jbOYs

Who I am

On The Outside World

Her heart had all her insecurities

Her mind was open to all who please

The link between her and the world

Is a story not to be told

She hides behind beautiful words,

Ones created of many different worlds.

She worries of future problems that may roam.

On the outside world, outside of home

Hello! My name is Daniela, I am a huge fan of books. Books are my safe place. In my opinion, the best books are those with dystopian societies such as, The Hunger Games, The Giver, or Red Queen. My favorite colors are red and navy blue. Also, the sport I enjoy the most is soccer. I’ve been playing soccer since I was eight. I can be a tad dramatic (poem at the top). Due to the noise level and amount of books, the library is my favorite place. Finally, I love almost every Mexican plate there is. “Life without Mexican food is no life at all”  -Anonymous.
